Figure Drawing Made Easier Instructor: Mitch Caster If you would like to do more figure work in pastel, but lack confidence, this is a class to give you some strategies for more success. The focus will be drawing techniques for better gesture, proportions, perspective, patterns and edges., how to place multiple figures into a scene, etc.   Drawing from a live model, we’ll use willow or vine charcoal, kneaded eraser, optional chamois (I will bring some) and spray fixative. Location: Wheat Ridge Center for Music & Arts (currently also Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church)  7530 W. 38th Ave. (in the gymnasium) Time: 9am-3:30pm Date: July 19th

In connection with PSC’s 2025 Mile High Pastel Exhibition, judge and juror Karen Margulis will be offering two, two-day, back-to-back workshops in May 2025. Location: Both workshops will be held at the Curtis Center for the Arts. 2349 E. Orchard Rd, Greenwood Village, CO 80121. The workshop will be held downstairs at the Curtis Center in a dedicated workshop space.  There is ADA access. Karen received her BA in Education from the University of Florida.
