Lorraine W Trenholm
Lorraine was born in New York, and attended Pratt Institute as a painting major. She moved to Colorado in 2004, where she does studio and “plein air” painting, and teaches classes and workshops in pastel and oil painting. Lorraine’s award winning paintings have earned her signature memberships in three pastel societies, and Master Circle designation with IAPS. Her paintings are in private collections in the US and abroad.
My painting spirit is restless, always seeking new ways to represent my perceptions of the world. Painting is a challenge_ it is one of the most difficult and satisfying activities in which I have ever engaged. There is always something new to try, and the driving force is “what if”?
