Saturday, July 25, 2026 · 9:00 AM–12:00 PM MT
11 AM ET | 10 AM CT | 9 AM MT | 8 AM PT
The immediacy of pastel makes it the perfect medium for capturing lively portraits. In this paint-along, Corey Pitkin will demonstrate his technique for quickly capturing a strong likeness while discussing how thoughtful lighting and varied edges can create moody, evocative portraits.
Participants will work from an instructor-provided reference photo while learning Corey’s efficient approach to portrait sketching in pastel. The session is suitable for mixed/all skill levels.
A recording of the event will be provided to registrants following the session.
