Maggie is passionate about the west and its breathtaking scenery. She has spent many hours hiking in the mountains and deserts of the Colorado plateau breathing in the atmosphere, taking digital photos and generally reveling in all she sees. She paints plein air during the spring, summer and fall, often with her husband an oil painter, finishing work in the studio when needed. During the winter she practices drawing from life, painting in oil pastels just for a change, and working on larger pieces from plein air sketches and photographs. Maggie can be reached
